Frequently Asked Questions

Currently, many questions are answered in the information on the home page. As new questions crop up, we will be posting them here, along with their answers.

How is the project progressing?

Answer: I've reached the halfway mark in completing the database. Of the 194 brothers that I believe are still with us, I have made contact with 98. I've sent letters to every brother that I had not been able to contact via email. My next step will be to telephone the 96 brothers I have not heard from. My goal is to accomplish this before November.

How can I help?

Answer: Feel free to call any brother who still has a black "living" in the status column. All phone numbers that appear in green are current, according to WhitePages.com. If you make contact, verify or correct the information in the database and email it to me, or have the brother email or mail it to me directly.

When and where will the first reunion be held?

Answer: Saturday, November 6, 2010, in beautiful downtown Ferrell, NJ. Richard Mood has offered the use of the Firehouse Hall. We will be figuring out details later, but, after reading the many concerns about the ability to travel for various reasons, I've decided that an informal, low cost gathering would be the best way to get started. And since Ferrell is about 10 miles from my home, it works for me. There are many hotels close to Ferrell - Deptford, about 10 miles away, has a Fairfield Inn and a Residence Inn. Philadelphia is less than 30 miles away and Atlantic City is less than 50 miles from Ferrell.

What next?

Answer: Please reply by May 1 using the interactive form HERE so Richard and I can move ahead with the hall and food. If there is enough interest in the Deptford hotels, I will look into group discounts. As soon as we have an idea about numbers, more information will be sent.
